Why the 5 year wait?

This was a question that came up over the weekend, a few times. A blissful weekend spent at The Beaufort in Sentosa. We have always wanted to make the quick trip there for a weekend getaway but it proved to be a little nonsensical since it was not really away to say the least. I mean its Sentosa. So we never made the trek there for a weekend break instead we looked overseas and after considering the hassles and the possible need to take leave the idea died down.

But this weekend there was refreshing break and I have to say much needed. Best part of it, it was so convienent and even though we were in Sentosa and could be home in 30 mins, not venturing back to the mainisland during the weekend made the trip "feel" like we were well and truly away. There was little to do, but that is the case, for these sorta of weekend breaks. Lounging by the pool, catching up on some reading, and basically just relaxing and soaking up the atomosphere was the order of the day. Although the first day was a "working" day the second day there was awesome and we got back to full charge after it.

Although our weekends are usually packed, we got to do this more often!
