Yes it is today and I am quite excited to see the results. Being a movie buff who does not go to the movies but prefers to download and watch the latest show, I am not what you call a purist but I do enjoy the spectacle.In particular, the fact that Hugh Jackman, who incidentally is from my Uni, is hosting the show. Should be interesting!
